The following are species we TRY to grow given the season and availability of seed and cuttings.

Dianella admixta Black-anther Flax-lily Narrow leaves; blue flowers spring; blue fruits. (syn. D. revoluta)
Dianella laevis var. laevis Pale Flax-lily Dark-green leaves;blue flowers spr.; purple fruit. (syn. D.longifolia var.longifolia)
Dianella tasmanica Tasman Flax-lily Large leaves; blue flowers; large purple berries.
Lomandra longifolia Spiny-headed Mat-rush Tussock. strap-like leaves; yellow flowers.


NB: All of these perennials often die down to their tuberous rootstock during the dry season, but will grow again when adequate moisture is available.
All are best grown in groups.
